CPSC MISSION
The Canadian Plastics Sector Council (CPSC) wants you to learn more about the exciting world of plastics and the range of challenging opportunities it has to offer. This means you can be a part of helping the Canadian plastics sector become more competitive, nationally, and internationally.

What’s the point of the CPSC?
The various groups in the plastics sector have come together and created this council to deal with problems or issues in the plastics industry. The council wants to help solve the problem that the plastics industry is facing in Canada: THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH SKILLED WORKERS! From machine operators to chemical engineers, the plastics industry needs people with all levels of education and skills.

The council itself is supported by funding from the Sectoral Partnerships Initiatives program of Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC). The CPSC would be considered the "national team" representing the plastics community in the job market working to attract people like yourself to the exciting world of plastics.
