Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC)
NSERC's role is to invest in people, discovery and innovation for the benefit of all Canadians. It invests in people by supporting more than 9,000 students in their advanced studies. It also promotes discovery by funding more than 8,700 researchers every year. Innovation is supported by encouraging more than 1,000 Canadian companies to invest in university research. This site contains areas for researchers, students, industry, and media as well as links to other research sites.

Institute for Chemical Processes and Environmental Technology
ICPET develops chemical process technology useful to clients in Canada's manufacturing industries. The Institute offers manufacturers the research expertise and innovative technology they need to improve the commercial viability of their products and the efficiency of their processes and operations. ICPET works with Canadian industry in the areas of process efficiency, materials manufacturing, materials performance, and environmental technology issues related to manufacturing and processing.
