The Elevated Wetlands or Plastics + Art is an initiative of the Canadian Plastics Industry Association to create partnerships between Canadian artists, industry stakeholders, local governments, and others. The goal is to develop "plastic" art projects in Canada. The first Plastics + Art sponsored project is  "The Elevated Wetlands" by Noel Harding, a series of six ecological plastic-based sculptures, using recycled plastic soil to purify polluted water from the Don River.
